If I had to research my options, there is no better place to start than with a search engine. I personally prefer Google because they own over 60% of the market share for search engines. This isn't any accident but because they usually offer a superior search experience. Whatever search engine you do use, you need to learn what to do and what not to do while doing your research.
Once you've decided on a search engine, you need to figure out how to do the research. This can be accomplished by learning a few simple things about search engines like Google.com. The first thing you should know is the definition of the term 'keyword'. When people use the term keyword, they are referring to the words you type into the search box. Some people differ on the whether the term 'keyword' refers to multiple word phrases or not. In my experience, a keyword can be multiple words.
Learn how to use operators when doing your searches. An operator is a fancy term for using '+' '-' and quotes " to help you refine your search to find what you are looking for. The plus sign '+' when placed directly in front of a word, tell the search engine to return results that must include the word with the plus in front of it. The minus sign '-' tells the search engine to exlude any results that include the word with the minus sign directly in front of it. The third operator that is useful is the quotes operator. This operator is useful when you want to include a certain phrase in a specific order. All three of these operators can help narrow your search results to exactly what you are looking for.
As you do your research for the search engines, you will come across business opportunity directories. Make sure to poke around in a few of these as they may just prove to be useful.
